Denisfondoom is a our player, that play for smiters and he is bad mannered.
To be a good smiter you must spend years in playing PvP games, first find around 5x jah runes, then we will tell you what items you shoud use to be a good smiter.

Armor - runeword Fortitude in 4 sockets archon plate (El + Sol + Dol + Lo)
Gloves - Dracul's Grasp
Belt - Verdungo's Hearty Cord
Boots - Gore Rider
Weapon - runeword - Grief in 5soc PhaseBlade (Eth + Tir + Lo + Mal + Ral)
Shield - runeword - Exile in 4 Socket Paladin Shields 45all Resistances (only) (Vex + Ohm + Ist + Dol)
Amulet - Highlord's Wrath
Ring - 1) Raven Frost 20dexterity and 250 attack rating. 2) rare ring with AR, str, dex. and other.

Stash - Annihilus 20 To All Atributes All Resistances -20\ 10 exp,
Hellfire Torch 3pal skills All Resistances -20 All Atributes -20

omg ;D

don't listen to those who saying you should use sur/ber/jah/cham/zod runes
these runes are good but it is too hard to get them

as for Biohazard2311 guide:
1) you can use crown of ages without ber runes, or even use shako instead
2) annihilus is not essential at all, and also it is too expensive (even worst ones cost a lot)
3) you can use hellfire torch ~10 stats instead of perfect one (20 stat 20 allres) - this will make it about 10 times cheaper
4) fortitude runeword is expensive; you can use shaftstop armor instead of it - it costs very small price
5) grief runeword is the only expensive thing that you really need, and it looks like really essential for smiter; you can buy low stats one for something like ohm rune or even vex+gul if luck, instead of making it by yourself using Lo rune - this will save you some runes too

dont listen firkax and others if u want to have a good character. if u want to get good runes (and character, of course), you must do the thing called "parovoz". "parovoz" is really awesome. its a thing when you rush 7 muls to the hell with your classic sorceress and use their "hellforge" to get a runes. if u want to get some additional information about "parovozes", you can ask the adepts of "parovozes" such as Obsessed, ChronoExp and others.

funky1020, 2 facts: 1) runedrop here is similar with d2 ver. 1.11 (shorter: it's rather low :D), 2) you can look for runes or make so called "parovozes" ("trains") like mypglogin said. this way is more promising, but.. "trains" are really awsome. ;D and they require sorceress. :-)

my opinion - trains are for severe, brutal russians. ;D

the thing which are mypglogin and Obsessed says about ("trains") is very very boring and not interesting at all
it is obviously not a normal game, but just a hard work to get runes
the choice (to do or not to do it) is anyway yours, but in my opinion it is not for regular use

not so boring locomotives, as their breaking

firkax says that "trains" is so boring, but dont listen him. playing with char in crappy equipment is... crappy :D. really crappy, i guarantee it. remember: if u want to play fine, u must do the "trains", ok?

as i say, Obsessed and ChronoExp can help you with rushing your classic sorceress

It looks hard i know) Andr and Mef for sorceress, not for u smiter now. Y'll need 6 soced phase blade for start, 3 soc archon plate, gulliame face, stormshield, draculs. I'll gives this items for you, but not now. 1-2 days maybe.

funky1020, you need to get hammerdin. make new pal, take any bow, ask for "ench" in game chat, make him 25+ lvl, then ask for help to pass normal difficulty (create game "Taxi normal plz"), then ask for help to pass nightmare (nm), and then invest 1 point to vigor and conviction auras, enter games named "nmbr#", turn on conviction and run around, when party kills Baal minions (you can put 1 pt in smite and use it). it will be fast to get him 40 lvl. then come back here and write:
"I made 40 lvl, C@C K@W@Tu P@Jl0gEH@ H@ M@Jl@TCu?".
this new pal will help you much, trust me!

P.S. don't waste his skill pts, only 1 in vigor (and 1 to prereqs, ofc).

у моего 97 лвл хама 13 пойнтов не раскидано, на конву упарывается 5. один хрен, его хам будет кривой по ряду причин, не вижу смысла переживать..

funky1020, no, his itamz are not so expensive, he can be cheap and effective. Wizardspike, Spirit (shield), Vipermagi armor, SHAKO - aren't so hard to get.
Enigma armor must wait for awhile.. ;D

funky1020, most pts to vita, ofc. dex for 75% blocking (after Holy Shield cast, OFC!), str - to wear itamz. that's why it's better not to wear heavy itamz.

I was mistaken, don't invest pts to Conviction, better find scepter with this aura: Drognan sells it, choose map, where town gates are behind him, run out, then back in town - he will offer new items.
that will help to put 20 pts into Holy Shield. it would be better.
